On 31 October 2018, the Australian Taxation Office ("ATO") finalised Tax Determination 2018/15 ("Determination"). 2018 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner

The Bailiwick Legal team enjoyed the 2018 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner held on Saturday 10 November at the Crown Ballroom at Burswood. The event is the tourism industry's night of nights where local businesses come together to recognise medallists of the awards program and celebrate tourism industry achievements of the last twelve months. Bailiwick Legal sponsored the award for the category of Unique Accommodation. Congratulations to Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures - The Horizontal Hotel for winning the gold medal in this category.
Network@Night

The Bailiwick Legal team had a great time meeting and chatting to local businesses at the Tourism Council WA Network@Night event at the Westin Hotel on 30 October 2018.

Bailiwick Legal are currently making arrangements for a tour of regional WA, in February 2019, to include: Moora, Northam, Kelleberin, Merredin, Corrigin and Narrogin.  This event will consist of a half day of discussions tailored for business owners, employers and HR and management professionals, to cover issues such as single touch payrole, employment contracts and mitigating an employer’s risk.  We will soon be releasing further information about our co-hosts for this event, who are excited to share their knowledge and expertise with these communities.

Meet the team
We would like to help you get to know us a little better by introducing members of our team. This month we introduce Evelyn Ho, our Office Administrator.

Evelyn started at Bailiwick Legal in May 2017 after leaving the Tertiary Education sector and has never looked back since. Her role at Bailiwick is a mix of a bit of everything from receptionist to office administration to paralegal work. She recently attended the College of Law Western Australian Legal Practice Management course.
